It won’t be long till Saucon Valley, Southern Lehigh and Upper Bucks residents have a new shopping destination for discounted designer clothes and housewares.
The HomeGoods and T.J. Maxx stores in the Walmart shopping center on Rt. 309 in Richland Crossing shopping center–just north of Quakertown in Richland Township–will open in less than a month, according to signs taped to their doors.
The grand opening date is Sunday, Sept. 18 at 8 a.m.
The stores are currently hiring employees, according to posters that were also hung in the doors.

The building in which the stores are located formerly housed an Acme supermarket.
The address for the new HomeGoods and T.J. Maxx stores is 221 N. West End Blvd., Quakertown, Pa. The phone number for the stores is 215-536-8015.
- The stores will be open Sunday, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Monday through Saturday, 9:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., according to the T.J. Maxx website.
