The Perkasie, Quakertown, Harleysville and Souderton Rotary clubs on Oct. 8 presented a check for $2,000 to ShelterBox, an international disaster relief charity that delivers emergency shelters and aid to people affected by disasters worldwide.
The money was raised through a mini golf fundraiser held earlier this year.
Presenting the check are, from left: Hank Tur, secretary of Perkasie Rotary, who helped organize the event; Dale Rubinkam, of ShelterBox; Linda Young, Rotary District Governor for southeastern Pennsylvania; Bill Tuszynski, Rotary assistant governor for Area 6; Steve Kendra, President of Souderton-Telford Rotary; and Shushma Patel, President of Harleysville Rotary.
