Lower Saucon Township Police are investigating a case in which a PPL-owned electrical meter was stolen from a home in the 1800 block of Bucknell Drive.
In a news release Thursday, police said the meter was discovered stolen at 7:05 p.m. Christmas Eve, after a burglar alarm at the home was activated and officers responded.
“Officers found the home to be secure but noticed that the electrical meter had been removed from the base,” police said.
“Officers did contact PPL to replace the electrical meter,” they added.
