St. Theresa School students participated in their annual May Crowning Procession Friday.
Students from Pre-K 4 through eighth grade participated in the May Crowning procession that followed an 8:45 a.m. mass.
Eighth grader Taylor Teles crowned a statue of the Virgin Mary, and the graduating eighth grade class and new second grade Holy Communion recipients placed flowers in a vase that was presented to Mary.
St. Theresa School in Hellertown is celebrating its 76th year of providing a Catholic-centered education for Pre-K 3 through eighth grade, consistent with the educational mission of the Church. The school emphasizes basic skills with a blend of traditional and current creative teaching methods and the use of current technology. A caring faculty, supportive parents and parishioners foster the spiritual, intellectual and emotional growth of the whole child.
