According to Saucon Valley High School head football coach, Phil Sams, the Panthers took a good first step Wednesday morning in their 7-on-7 pass scrimmage against the Northampton Konkrete Kids. Saucon Valley moved the ball with much more consistency on offense and controlled the contest defensively. It appeared as if the Panthers gathered more interceptions defensively than Northampton had touchdowns. It is only the off-season, but it was a dominating performance by the Panthers.
Saucon Valley looks forward to the 2017 season and to build on the success of three consecutive Colonial League championships. The Panthers claim a 28-2 Colonial League record over the past three seasons.
Up Next: The Saucon Valley Panthers high school football team will continue their off-season training and compete in a 7-on-7 competition at Souderton High School on Saturday, June 24. The competition starts at 9 a.m. and will continue into the afternoon.
Good Luck Panthers, the Source is with you!
