A man who peddled heroin in Upper Bucks County received a lengthy prison sentence late last month in Bucks County Common Pleas Court.

Adam Serok, 37, of Quakertown, who sold the notorious “China White” mix of heroin and fentanyl blamed for multiple overdoses in Upper Bucks, was sentenced Nov. 27 by President Judge Jeffrey L. Finley to serve four to 10 years in state prison.
The case was prosecuted by Deputy District Attorney Thomas C. Gannon.
Serok was arrested in January and pleaded guilty June 26 to two counts of possession with intent to deliver controlled substances, conspiracy, criminal use of a communication facility and several misdemeanor offenses.
Serok had fled on New Year’s Eve from the Quakertown TGI Friday’s restaurant after a customer overdosed and collapsed from snorting two packets of China White Serok had sold him. Serok, who left the restaurant without paying, was later identified by a bartender from a Facebook photo.
After being revived, the overdose victim told police he had bought the drugs from Serok in the parking lot and snorted them in his car before entering the restaurant.
Earlier the same evening, Quakertown police had arrested two other men for selling China White to an informant. Both suspects named Serok as their supplier.
Serok was arrested Jan. 4 after selling another brand of heroin to an informant at the Dunkin Donuts store on West Broad Street in Quakertown. He has been in custody ever since.
Finley sentenced Serok to two consecutive two- to five-year terms, along with 10 years of concurrent probation. The judge recommended that Serok serve his time in a therapeutic community and directed that he have a relapse prevention plan in place before being paroled.
