Police Seek Owner of Black Pit Bull Found Near Rt. 378

Lower Saucon Township Police shared this photo of the black male pit bull found at the top of South Mountain along Rt. 378 Tuesday.

Lower Saucon Township Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying the owner of a black male pit bull that was found at E. University Avenue and Rt. 378 Tuesday.

The dog was wearing a spiked collar and is now being cared for at the department’s kennel.

Anyone with information is asked to call the county non-emergency number: 610-759-2200.

The police also sent out a Nixle alert about the dog.
