Helen B. (Beneck) Pancoe, 93, Formerly of Hellertown (Obituary Brought to You by Heintzelman Funeral Home)

Helen B. (Beneck) Pancoe, 93, formerly of Hellertown, died Sunday, July 29, 2018 at Mahoning Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Lehighton. She was the wife of the late John Pancoe, who passed away on Jan. 16, 2006. She was born in Nesquehoning on Dec. 30, 1924 to the late Albin M. and Stefania (Beneck) Beneck. In 1945, she earned a Bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Pennsylvania. Helen was a RN in the health care field for many years until retiring. She was a quilter at St. George’s Episcopal Church, Hellertown.

SURVIVORS

Children: Dennis J. (Alison) of  North Sturbridge, Mass., Craig A. (Deborra) of Jenkintown, Elaine M. (Michael) Bartholomew of Palmerton; 8 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by brothers: Albert M. and Louis W.

SERVICE

Family and friends were invited to call from 9 to 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2018 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 326 Main St., Hellertown.
