Senior Ryan Holub
The Panthers 41-3 mercy-rule beating of the Pen Argyl Green Knights had no shortage of outstanding offensive and defensive plays. The were many highlights that are certainly worthy of this weekly honor. But, this Panther play stands out!
With a 21-0 lead early in the 2nd Quarter the Panthers broke the huddle facing a 1st & 10 from their own 25-yardline. Ryan Holub (#13) took his place as the slot receiver toward the bottom of the screen. Saucon Valley quarterback, Dante Mahaffey takes the shotgun snap and quickly throws the “bubble-screen” pass to his left. Holub secures the short pass and powers his way up field. With a little help from his Panther friends, Ryan is escorted for additional yards and another one of Saucon Valley’s 22 1st Downs!
