After their 41-3 pummeling of the Pen Argyl Green Knights on Saturday, Saucon Valley has remained undefeated in search of another Colonial League title. There were quite a few big plays for the Panthers against Pen Argyl but this play stands on its own. With the Green Knights threatening to score during 2nd Quarter action, Justin Kyra comes up big during Krunch Time!

Kyra (#22) is lined up at his cornerback position at the bottom of the screen and plays over top of the Pen Argyl receiver. With the pass thrown a little high and behind the intended receiver, Justin was able to flash his quick hands and gather the ball for the interception. As if the acrobatic interception at the 10-yardline wasn’t enough, Justin was able to return the ball 20 yards back to the 30-yardline!
In recognition of this “Krunch Time!” award, the Culinary Experience & Catering is rewarding Justin with a $12 meal voucher to be redeemed at the next Saucon Source Post-Game Tailgate Party at the Waldheim Beethoven Club on Friday night, Sept. 7. Friday night the Panthers will host their home opener against the Palmerton Blue Bombers.
