Lower Saucon Township Police are urging residents to lock their vehicles after they say a number of unlocked cars on two different township streets were entered with items taken from them during the overnight hours of Sunday-Monday.

In posts on the department’s Crimewatch website Monday police said an unknown person or persons rummaged through the center consoles and glove boxes of two unlocked vehicles parked in the driveway of a home in the 2200 block of Apple Street, removing a GPS device, an unknown amount of loose change and a flashlight from them.

The same thing happened with three unlocked cars parked on the other side of the township in the 1900 block of Peach Tree Lane, where miscellaneous items including change and a cell phone charger were stolen, police said.

Anyone with information about these incidents is asked to contact the Lower Saucon Township Police Department at 610-317-6110 or to submit a tip through their anonymous Crimewatch submission form.
