Chipping in also with two stops a piece were Xander Farkas, Ricky Favere and Daniel DeTello, whose stops were both behind the line of scrimmage. Their string of utter domination continued again this week as the Panthers improved to 4-0 on the season with a resounding 28-0 win over the Bangor Slaters. This was their fourth shut-out victory in a row, and Coach Erik Schneider referred to his defense as “relentless” and featuring some hard-hitting by Peter Albano and Andrew Gilbert. They produced three red zone stops including an interception by Jack Robertson in the end zone and a turnover on a blocked punt by Constantine Donahue, who contributed a pair of touchdowns on offense as well, including an 84-yard sprint. Also scoring a pair of touchdowns was Landon Beckowski. After the game Coach Brown congratulated the offensive line for opening huge holes and spoke about next week’s game versus the Catasauqua Rough Riders as a big challenge for them.
