Annual Holiday Open House at Heller-Wagner Grist Mill Set for Dec. 7

The Hellertown Historical Society’s annual Holiday Open House will be held Friday, Dec. 7 from 6 to 9 p.m. in the Tavern Room located in the lower level of the Historic Heller-Wagner Grist Mill at 150 W. Walnut St., Hellertown. (Snow date is Saturday, Dec. 8.)

Enjoy holiday cheer and meet new friends or chat with old ones. Live musical entertainment featuring the Lehigh Valley Idols will be provided, and there will be mill museum tours, the model train display in the basement of the adjacent Miller’s House, raffles and more.

Christmas ornaments, Hellertown pottery and Grist Mill prints will be available for purchase and make great gifts.

Complimentary light refreshments will be served throughout the evening. Wine tastings will be provided by Black River Farms.

This event is free and open to the public.

The grist mill will also be the setting for the annual Shopping at the Mill and Photos with Santa event on Sunday, Dec. 16 from noon to 4 p.m.
