Hellertown Lions Treat Local Seniors to Free Holiday Dinner

The Hellertown Lions hosted their third annual Holiday Dinner at St. George’s Episcopal Church in Hellertown Dec. 16.
The dinner, held to honor the senior citizens of the Saucon Valley area, was attended by 85 participants.
The event was catered by Brooklyn’s Catering of the Springtown Inn.
Tom DeVito of St. George’s provided piano music, which encouraged a sing-a-long of Christmas music read from booklets provided by the Valley Voice. The Christmas Choir from Christ Lutheran Church, Hellertown, also stopped by to entertain the guests.
Hellertown Lions President Jesse Repash was the emcee for the dinner, which was staffed by Hellertown Lions and their spouses, and the St. George’s Outreach Committee and Youth Group. The desserts were prepared by St. George’s members Polly Roberts and Diane Doll.
