A Bucks County man who was wanted on warrants issued by the Pennsylvania State Police at Dublin as well as Montgomery County authorities was taken into custody in Lower Saucon Township last month, township police said Friday.

In a post on their Crimewatch website, township police said Johnathan Frances Peterson, 28, who lives in Sellersville according to court records, was arrested Dec. 20 in the parking lot of a closed restaurant on Old Philadelphia Pike, after a disabled vehicle was observed there at around 1:45 a.m.
“Upon further investigation one of the males tending to the vehicle was identified as Johnathan Frances Peterson,” police said, adding that he “was transported to police headquarters and was later transported to Northampton County Prison and detained on the outstanding warrants.”
According to online court records, as of Dec. 26 Peterson was incarcerated in the Montgomery County Jail on a Misdemeanor 1 charge of Endangering the Welfare of Children-Parent/Guardian/Other Commits Offense, a Misdemeanor 2 charge of Recklessly Endangering Another Person and summary charges of careless driving and driving on a suspended license.
The original arresting agency in the case–which dates from March 2012–is the Cheltenham Township Police Department in Montgomery County, according to the records, which indicate that Peterson is also known by the aliases John Peterson, Jonathan Peterson and Jonathan Francis Peterson.
