Earlier this week, Coach Kolosky and his Saucon Valley track and field athletes made the short trip over to Southern Lehigh to compete in their first action of the season.  Right out of the gates, Saucon Valley had the difficult, tri-meet challenge of taking on Colonial League foes Southern Lehigh and Palisades.  The Spartans and Pirates are among the best track and field programs in the Lehigh Valley.  Both, the Southern Lehigh’s boys and girls, were undefeated last season.  The Palisades girls had a 10-1 record last year with their only loss coming at the hands and feet of the Spartans.  In 2018, the Palisades boys finished with a 7-4 record. On Tuesday, the Panthers ran, jumped, vaulted and threw their way through a great day of track and field competition.
