A 26-year-old Upper Saucon Township woman has been charged with DUI and a traffic violation, Lower Saucon Township Police said Tuesday, as a result of a two-vehicle crash she allegedly caused on Flint Hill Road in the area of Waldheim Road April 6.

In a post on the department’s Crimewatch site, police said an officer detected the odor of an alcoholic beverage on the breath of Tiana Marie Hammond following the 10:07 p.m. crash.
According to police, Hammond was taken to the Northampton County DUI Center for processing after she failed field coordination exercises, and was allegedly found to have a blood alcohol concentration (BAC) of .22 percent.
The maximum BAC that is legal for any driver in Pennsylvania is .08 percent.
According to Lehigh County court records, in January Hammond was charged with DUI-First Offense and careless driving in the city of Allentown.
In that case she is represented by attorney Jack T. Zifou of Allentown, the records state.
