A man charged with DUI in Lower Saucon Township was allegedly driving on a license that is suspended because of a prior DUI, township police said in a post on their Crimewatch site Tuesday.

According to police, Leon Felix, 39, of Fountain Hill, was stopped Tuesday morning after officers were dispatched to a reported domestic disturbance in the 3700 block of Old Philadelphia Pike.

The Lower Saucon Township Police Department is located in the same block.

“On arrival, a vehicle was backing out of the driveway and refused to stop for police to investigate further,” police said. “When police made contact with the driver, Leon Felix, they detected an odor of alcoholic beverage on his breath and learned his driver’s license was suspended (DUI Related).”

Police said Felix allegedly failed field coordination exercises and was allegedly found to have a blood alcohol concentration (BAC) of .22 percent at the Northampton County DUI Center.

The maximum legal limit for BAC for all drivers in Pennsylvania is .08 percent.
