Michael J. Carroll Jr., 38-year-old husband and father from Lower Saucon Township, passed away on Monday, Sept. 23, 2019 at St. Luke’s Hospital, Fountain Hill. He was born in Doylestown on Feb. 14, 1981 to Michael J. Carroll Sr. of Pipersville and Janet Schroetter Pryor of Hellertown. He was a graduate of the Palisades High School Class of 1999 and Bloomsburg University Class of 2002. In 2005, he married Alison Metter Carroll and they had three beautiful children together. For the past 16 years, Michael worked at SmartAcre, a Digital Marketing Agency in Bethlehem. He served as president of the company since 2015. Michael was a wonderful, witty person with a contagious smile. He was very passionate about his business and worked diligently to make it successful for his employees, his clients and his family. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, making people laugh with movie quotes, listening to all types of music, playing trivia, racing cars at local tracks and boating on the lake. Most of all, he loved being with his wife of 14 years and playing with his children: 5-year-old Ella M. Carroll and 2-year-old twins Owen M. Carroll and Jack M. Carroll. Michael’s love and care for his family was infinite.
