An Easton man was charged with illegal dumping and reckless driving after Lower Saucon Township Police say he was caught dumping plastic on private property along Redington Road Saturday.
In a news release issued Monday police said John McCann, of the first block of S. Elder Street, “admitted to dumping the plastic.”
Police said officers were called to the scene shortly after midnight by the property owner.
They added that McCann was also allegedly found to be driving with a registration suspended “for no insurance.”
Redington Road, because of its remote location, has been the scene of repeated instances of illegal dumping over the last year.
