Hellertown’s Edward H. Ackerman American Legion Post 397 is collecting new, unwrapped toys for the U.S. Marines’ annual Toys for Tots drive through early December, to help make the holidays a little brighter for local children in need.
The collection is sponsored by the Legion, the Post 397 Legion Riders and Cheyenne Reiman, Coldwell Banker Hearthside, Realtors.
Donations can be dropped off through Friday, Dec. 4, 2015 at the Legion, 935 Main St., Hellertown.

The Belmont Inne in Lower Saucon Township, which is located at 3750 Old Philadelphia Pike, Bethlehem, and Frey’s Better Foods, 1575 Main St., Hellertown, are also dropoff points for Toys for Tots this year.

There will be a kickoff dance for this year’s campaign on Saturday, Nov. 14 in Northampton.
