A Hellertown woman who was charged with DUI and other charges earlier this month is now facing another DUI charge, in addition to charges of terroristic threats, tampering with evidence, driving with a suspended license and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to court records and published reports.

Amanda Ann Antonucci, 27, of the 1100 block of Main Street, was arrested at Top Star Exxon, 1575 Main St., at about 7:45 p.m. Wednesday, after an officer approached her because he knew she was driving on a suspended license and she allegedly failed field sobriety tests, WFMZ-TV Channel 69 News reported Friday.
When Antonucci was taken to the police department’s holding cell, she allegedly became belligerent and threatened to kill a police officer as well as have her boyfriend kill an officer, according to the WFMZ article.
Antonucci allegedly admitted to police that she had used methadone, heroin, Xanax and methamphetamine before driving to the gas station, the LVL article indicated.
She was later arraigned before District Judge Richard Yetter III, who set her bail at $30,000 with a 10 percent cash option, according to court records, which indicate Antonucci was committed to Northampton County Prison after failing to post bail.
In relation to the Sept. 12 alleged incident, Hellertown police said Antonucci was to be charged with DUI, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving with a suspended license and careless driving.
Court records indicate she has at least two prior convictions for careless driving.
