Nine Lehigh Valley churches and organizations will be offering free Thanksgiving meals to the community this November. Some locations will also offer free home-delivered meals, or transportation arrangements for those area residents who aren’t able to drive themselves.
United Way’s PA 2-1-1 East has compiled a list of the dates, locations and times when local residents can celebrate Thanksgiving with a hot meal and warm fellowship. Please note that some locations require that reservations be made by a specific date.
Saturday, Nov. 19
- Everlasting Life Ministries at Bethany Evangelical Congregational Church, 224 N. Sixth St., Allentown, Pa., 12 to 3 p.m. Donations of turkeys, baked and canned goods and fresh fruit accepted. Call 610-776-4009 for more information.
