As a Hellertonian I use the (Saucon) Rail Trail pretty frequently. I’ve hiked, biked and run on pretty much every section of the trail, and as a result I’ve seen all the beautiful stretches it contains. It’s a special place for myself and many other locals, which is why I think it’s important to keep it as clean as possible.
I’ve noticed an increasing amount of trash in the trail’s vicinity lately. Not only does this spoil the experience for the patrons, but it also affects the local environment and wildlife, too. So next time you’re on the trail and you think about just throwing something into the bushes where no one can see, please consider the consequences of littering. It’s an easy problem to take care of if we all do our part.
