Man Wanted for Allegedly Stealing Tools in L. Saucon Arrested in Bucks Co.

Lower Saucon Township Police say the man captured on this home surveillance footage allegedly stealing tools from a garage in the 2300 block of Kings Mill Road last month is Shaun Rehill of Fairless Hills, Bucks County, who is now in custody.

A Bucks County man accused of stealing and reselling thousands of dollars worth of tools from his former employer, Walters Excavating of Lower Saucon Township, as well as burgling a garage on Kings Mill Road late last month, was arrested this week in lower Bucks County on a warrant issued by the Lower Saucon Township Police Department and is now in custody.

Shaun Rehill, 32, of the first block of Kennedy Drive, Fairless Hills, Bucks County, was picked up on the warrant by Middletown Township Police on Veterans Highway in Levittown at about 4:15 p.m. Wednesday, according to a Nixle alert posted by Middletown police Thursday.

According to Northampton County court records, Rehill was arraigned before District Judge Robert A. Hawke on charges of burglary (Felony 2), theft by unlawful taking (Misdemeanor 2) and receiving stolen property (Misdemeanor 2) late Wednesday evening and committed to Northampton County Prison in lieu of $40,000 straight bail.

He remains in jail as of Friday after being unable to post bail, the records indicate.

A preliminary hearing in Rehill’s case is scheduled for Wednesday, April 26 at 9 a.m. before District Judge Elizabeth A. Romig-Gainer.
