A 40-year-old Hellertown man is accused of exposing himself near a borough daycare center.

In a news release Friday, police said Rick Charles Musgnung, 40, of the 300 block of Spruce Street, was arrested and charged with open lewdness, indecent exposure and disorderly conduct after officers Thursday investigated “a suspicious activity report (involving a) male exposing himself by the Saucon Valley Community Center daycare” in the 300 block of Northampton Street.

Police said that following his arrest Musgnung was taken to the Northampton County central booking center, where he was processed and arraigned Thursday night.

According to public online county court records, in September 2009 Musgnung pleaded guilty to open lewdness (Misdemeanor 3) and Corruption of Minors (Misdemeanor 1) and was sentenced by Judge Anthony Beltrami to serve time in jail–with credit for time served–followed by probation.

Beltrami also required Musgnung to undergo sex offender and mental health treatment and intensive drug/alcohol treatment, according to court records.
