Est. Read Time: 3 mins

In the Saucon Valley Wrestling Invitational, the Panthers did, indeed, protect their house.

As the first significant snow fell on Saturday, the Saucon Valley campus was alive with plenty of wrestling action.  The Panthers, once again hosted the Saucon Valley Invitational which is a preseason tournament designed to provided quality minutes to wrestlers as they get ready to enter the regular season.  Wrestlers from as far away as Philadelphia and Scranton gathered in the early hours of the Hellertown morning to weigh-in.  They would stay until late afternoon to compete and sharpen their wrestling skills.

It seems the Panthers are primed to put the preseason behind them.  “We had a good opening weekend.”  Saucon Valley Coach Chad Shirk offered.  “We had the opportunity to see what we need to work on and improve.”

Saucon Valley senior Jason Jones shows his out of town guest the quickest way back to the mat.
