Hellertown Police said in a news release Wednesday that two people have been charged with possession of methamphetamine as a result of a police investigation into a “dispute between roommates” at 103 E. Saucon Street April 21.

Police said in the news release that when officers arrived at the home shortly after 7:15 p.m., they “detected an odor of marijuana emitting from the bedroom.”

Police said officers subsequently discovered marijuana, meth and drug paraphernalia on a nightstand in the bedroom.

Both Shannel Marie Repsher, 35, of 103 E. Saucon St., Hellertown, and Mark Patrick Santos, 39, of 1822 Second St., Bethlehem Township, have been charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, police said in the news release.

Repsher, police said in a different news release issued Tuesday, is a tenant in the home, and was arrested on an active sheriff’s warrant April 14 when officers were called after her landlord was allegedly threatened with bodily harm by a guest of Repsher’s.

Police say Thomas Eugene Lenner, 41, who according to court records also lives at 1822 Second Street, Bethlehem Township, was the guest.

According to police and court records he is charged with felony aggravated assault, terroristic threats and simple assault in that case, in which police say he allegedly admitted to brandishing a utility knife and threatening to kill Repsher’s landlord.

According to public court records, the owner of the property, Margaret Brown of Hellertown, has begun eviction proceedings against Repsher and is seeking $2,360 from her in a landlord-tenant complaint filed April 15 at the district court in Lower Saucon Township.

Brown previously told Saucon Source she was locked out of her property April 14, and that after using a ladder in order to enter it, Lenner allegedly threatened her.

As of Wednesday, Lenner remains incarcerated in Northampton County Prison in lieu of $25,000 straight bail, according to court records, with a preliminary hearing in his case scheduled for May 13 at 3:30 p.m. before District Judge Alan Mege.

Court records have not yet been updated with scheduling information about Repsher’s preliminary hearing on the most recent charges, nor is it clear what the warrant she was arrested on last month was for.

As of Wednesday, a docket sheet for Santos had not yet been uploaded to the magisterial court database.
