On Nov. 6, two men were sentenced to prison for posing as sheriff’s deputies, invading and then robbing a home in Hilltown Township, Bucks County, last year.

Zbigniew Still, 22, of Philadelphia, and Jarrett Fort, 19, of Glenside, Montgomery County, admitted to robbery, burglary, conspiracy to commit robbery and two theft counts.

The home invasion-robbery the pair committed happened on May 25, 2023, at a residence on Reliance Place.

The victim reported that three men arrived at his house in a vehicle, wearing masks and claiming to be sheriff’s deputies with a warrant.

Armed with guns, the men then forced their way inside, zip-tied the resident and moved him to another location within the house. According to a news release, they then stole two firearms, “a large quantity of marijuana,” $4,000 in cash and various pieces of clothing before fleeing the scene. Authorities didn’t say how much marijuana was stolen or whether the victim was targeted.

After the victim was able to call for help, Hilltown Police responded to the home and began their investigation, which later led to the identification of Still and Fort as two of the three perpetrators.

According to the Bucks County District Attorney’s office, the third man who participated in the robbery remains unidentified and the guns that were stolen were never recovered.

Despite that, Bucks County District Attorney Jennifer Schorn expressed pride in the case’s successful outcome.

“Thankfully, home invasion robberies are exceptionally rare in Bucks County,” she said. “However, when they do happen, law enforcement will devote countless resources to identify and apprehend the perpetrators and we will prosecute to the fullest extent.”

Bucks County Court of Common Pleas Judge Stephen A. Corr sentenced Still and Fort to five to 10 years for robbery and three to six years concurrently for burglary.
