To the Editor:
Hellertown is stunned! Our venerable volunteer Dewey Fire Company has been wracked with an alleged crime of unbelievable proportions.
I just sent a check to support Dewey and feel immeasurably betrayed.
Our nation and town have signs of devolution. The story here is that money was allegedly stolen to support a gambling habit, where I vociferously opposed the plan for a casino in our midst. Hellertonians at the time rejected my plea at the polls.
We reap what we sow! (Galatians 6:7-10) We need greatness, not grand theft!
