The popular Main Street, Hellertown restaurant and bar Sagra Bistro has announced new hours that will take effect under the ownership of Robyn Cavallaro.

Cavallaro has been partners in the business with Jim Zebert since it opened.

Last year the two put the building and business up for sale, but in an email newsletter Monday, Cavallaro–who had planned to relocate to Florida–said she had changed her plans.

“I had a change of heart and decided to buy his interest in the business,” she said. “It was a very friendly sale and Jim has worked with my new chef for the past two weeks to ensure a smooth transition.”

“All the recipes and menu will remain the same,” she added. “Sagra Bistro will continue to offer catering services, and team-building events and rent our room for private parties and meetings.”

Cavallaro also operates a ready-to-eat meal service which she said will be expanded in conjunction with the changes at the restaurant.

“We will expand my Ready-to-Eat Meal services to offer dishes from the Sagra Bistro menu,” she said. “With these changes, I have been able to pass savings on to my clients.”

In addition to the new Ready-to-Eat Meals menu, Sagra Bistro’s new hours of operation will begin the week of March 13: Tuesday to Saturday, 4 to 9 p.m. (11 p.m. on weekends). It will continue to be closed Sunday and will no longer be open Mondays.

The restaurant will be open for private events and catered parties seven days a week, Cavallaro said.
