Local Harry Potter fans won’t want to miss a special event planned for them Sunday, Jan. 27 from 2 to 3 p.m. at Mystical Treatsss in Hellertown.
Mystical Treatsss is Hellertown’s newest ice cream shop, specialty coffee bar and so much more, offering fantasy fun for all ages. Inside you’ll encounter a wonder-filled world of dragons, unicorns, wizards, mermaids and princesses, with a play area for kids, a private party room, a cafe seating area, a build-a-dragon workshop and fantasy-inspired gifts.
Harry Potter Party attendees will receive HP glasses to keep, their own wand to keep, butterbeer (the beverage of choice for young wizards), delicious hot soup and Mystical Treatsss’ signature nitrogen ice cream served in a cauldron.
The cost to attend is $30 per person, and reservations should be made by calling 484-851-3700. Space is limited, so call to reserve your seat today.

In addition to their amazingly creamy nitrogen ice cream–which is available in fun flavors like Mystical Mint, Unicorn Wishes and Witches Brew (plus concoctions you can use your own imagination to create)–Mystical Treatsss now serves hot food, including “Cauldron Offerings” such as Cream of Tomato Soup and vegan/gluten-free Three-Lentil Chili.
Pair your soup with a freshly-made grilled cheese sandwich, mac ‘n cheese or “Dragon Claws” (free-range organic chicken tenders) with tator tots.
Just want a hot beverage to warm you up? The shop offers brewed coffee made with locally-roasted Monocacy Coffee Company beans, Capatte (a combination of a cappuccino and a latte), the decadent drinking chocolate “Death by Cocoa,” a selection of teas, chai and “Liquid Apple Pie.”

Mystical Treatsss is located at 1310 Main Street in Hellertown (near CVS) and is open Wednesday and Thursday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Parking is available in the rear.
