The vibe inside the Easton Public Market is warm and welcoming, with gleaming hardwood floors connecting more than a dozen different food, wine, produce and other vendors.

Regardless, if you’re someone who can relate, fear not. The Easton Public Market at 325 Northampton Street in downtown Easton has you covered, with a wide variety of food stalls that cater–quickly and conveniently–to just about every taste.
The Easton Public Market is located at 325 Northampton Street about half a block from Centre Square.
The indoor, year-round market opened in April 2015 as an outgrowth of the Easton Farmers’ Market, which is held nearby in Centre Square Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., from May through December. Known as America’s oldest open-air market, it has been operating continuously in the city since 1752.
“Together the two markets comprise the Easton Market District, the center of Easton’s local food culture,” the Easton Public Market website states.
The Easton Public Market was founded with the goal of creating “a self-sustaining cultural and culinary hub that brings people together, supports a regional food culture, educates guests, inspires new ideas and drives the local economy,” according to the site.
The current (and growing) lineup at EPM includes:
- Book & Puppet Co., which sells on including cookbooks, celebrity chef memoirs, cocktail recipe manuals, kids’ cookbooks, food and garden-themed baby books and storybooks, and more. Book & Puppet also presents story hours Wednesdays at 9:30 a.m., children’s book character body-puppets Saturdays at noon and Sundays at 3 p.m., and special events featuring children’s and cookbook authors.
- Chocodiem, which sells Belgian artisanal chocolate, macarons and more.
- Dundore & Heister, a butcher that sells local, pasture-raised and organic meats.
- Eight Oaks Craft Distillers, a Lehigh County distillery that sells small-batch craft spirits.
- Fieldstone Coffee Roasters & Tea Leaf, a local roaster of coffees and purveyor of teas.
- Full of Crepe, which sells made-to-order sweet, savory, gluten-free nad vegan crepes made with fresh, local and seasonal ingredients.
- Highmark Farmstand, a “market within a market” that sells fresh produce.
- Mercantile Outpost, which sells kitchen, dining, garden and pantry wares, along with cooking implements, table accessories, fresh cut flowers and more.
- Mister Lee’s Noodles, which sells a variety of farm-fresh ramen dishes made with seasonal local produce and meats.
- Modern Crumb Bakeshop, which sells a wide variety of baked goods including baguettes, seasonal focaccias, brioche rolls, goat cheese and herb scones, breakfast items such as ham and cheese croissants, Danish, Keto muffins, vegan muffins, cheesecakes and custom cakes.
- More Than Q Barbecue, a barbecue stand that sells smoked meats such as brisket and sausage along with seasonal, fresh, Texas-style sides such as burnt end baked beans, collard greens and cheesy grits.
- Olive With A Twist, a specialty food vendor that sells olive oil, balsamic vinegar, imported cheeses, olives, spreads, sauces, pasta, jams, jellies, risotto, salts, spices, gift baskets and more.
- Scratch, which sells beer, bread and pizza made with locally-sourced, natural ingredients.
- Silvershell Counter + Kitchen, a self-described New England-style clam shack and seafood market that sells fresh fish, shellfish, soups and prepared to-go meals along with menu items such as lobster rolls, fried clams, stuffed quahhogs, steamers and freshly shucked oysters with signature housemade sauces.
- Taylor Taco Shop, a taqueria that sells Mexican favorites such as tacos, burritos, bowls, rice, beans, guacamole, salsa, home-made chips, tostones (fried plantains) and elontes (street corn-on-the-cob).
- Tolino Vineyards, a family-operated Bangor winery that sells a variety of wine including dry reds, dry whites, semi-sweet whites, rose, dessert wine and fruit wines.
The market is open year-round Wednesday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Sundays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., although individual vendors may have different hours.
