The 2022 holiday season in the Saucon Valley got off to a festive start with the annual Light Up Night celebration held in Hellertown’s Dimmick Park Friday evening.
Fall’s colors are beginning to fade, and as they do things are beginning to wind down at the Saucon Valley Farmers’ Market. The good news is that if you haven’t visited recently, you still have several opportunities to shop and enjoy the market before the season officially ends on Sunday, Nov. 20.
The annual Springtown Halloween Parade was held Sunday and drew spectators from throughout the Palisades School District and beyond for a fun, seasonal celebration.
It was better late than never that Saucon Valley High School’s Homecoming bonfire–postponed due to rain two weeks ago–was lit Thursday night at the school district stadium.
After Mother Nature teased anxious parade planners with a threat of showers Sunday afternoon, the weather cooperated for the Hellertown Halloween Parade and thousands of residents were able to enjoy a fun-filled fall afternoon watching the annual spectacle.
It just wouldn’t be Halloween in the Southern Lehigh area without the Coopersburg Halloween Parade. Thousands of local residents came out to demonstrate that Sunday.
St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church of Fountain Hill held its first Community Days event the weekend of Sept. 3 and there was fun for all ages to be had at the festival.
The Saucon Valley girls soccer team got off to a winning start this season and currently holds a 2-1 record, following a one-point loss to Southern Lehigh.
It’s been a few years since Saucon Valley residents have assembled for a Community Day celebration, which made the event held Saturday in Dimmick Park even more special.
