Saucon Source is a hyperlocal news and information business based in Pennsylvania’s Saucon Valley area and serving parts of southern Northampton, southern Lehigh and upper Bucks counties. Among the communities we cover are Hellertown, Coopersburg, Center Valley, Fountain Hill and South Bethlehem.

Since beginning publishing in October 2014, Saucon Source has become a vital resource for area residents interested in news about education, local government, elections, events, business, development, traffic/weather, crime and other topics.

At Saucon Source LLC, we believe in supporting our community with accurate, timely news coverage, as well as innovative and effective advertising solutions. As members of the community, we’re committed to giving back, and have done that over the years through a variety of endeavors, including contests and outreach.

In Memoriam – Chris Christian (1954 – 2024)

Chris ChristianA borough resident from 1984 until his death in 2024, Chris Christian considered himself a ‘Hellertonian’ even though he grew up in New York City. After his retirement from Lehigh University, he enjoyed sports photography and his interaction with the participants of Saucon Valley sports teams. He also enjoyed “working at a locally-oriented publication, helping to present some of the activities and celebrations that define our wonderful community.” We thank Chris for his service to Saucon Source and the Saucon Valley.
