Christopher J. Christian (1954 – 2024)
Christopher J. Christian, 69, of Hellertown, died Saturday, May 4, 2024 at his residence.
He was the husband of the late Patricia A. Christian, who passed away on Nov. 30, 2018. Chis was born on Aug. 2, 1954. He was a graduate of Portsmouth Abbey School in Rhode Island and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in industrial engineering from Lehigh University. He was a self-employed professional photographer, trading as Christopher J. Christian Photography since January 1998. Chris had also worked as a Realtor at Fishburn Realty Co., Bethlehem, for four years and was past Director of Transportation, Transit & Parking Services at Lehigh University, where he was employed for 37 years. He was a dedicated member of Dewey Fire Co. No. 1, Hellertown, for close to 20 years, serving in many roles; was a past member of the Hellertown Planning Commission; and was current Treasurer of the Hellertown Borough Authority Board. Everything Chris was challenged to do, be it work or photography, was done to the best of his ability. He had a huge heart and was dedicated to this community. He will be so missed.

He is survived by a sister, June Levitre, and countless friends.
SERVICES
Family and friends are invited to call from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday, May 13, 2024 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 326 Main St., Hellertown. The visitation period will be followed by the service at 11 a.m. The interment will conclude services at Union Cemetery of Hellertown Gardens. A funeral repast will be held at the Carriage House at Heintzelmans immediately following the graveside service.
