DA: Unexploded Bombs Could Still Be Live Throughout Upper Bucks

Bucks County District Attorney Matthew Weintraub said Tuesday that some explosive devices allegedly deployed earlier this year by suspected Upper Bucks bomber David W. Surman Jr. and his alleged co-conspirator and girlfriend Tina May Smith could still be live and a danger to members of the public. Devices have been linked to explosions in Milford Township, as well as Ottsville and Upper Black Eddy.

SVSD Should ‘Get With the Times’, Hire Officer, Resident Tells Board

‘I keep asking myself, ‘Why is Saucon Valley School District the only public school district in Lehigh and Northampton County that doesn’t have any other type of external security, like a school resource officer?” Lower Saucon Township resident David Repyneck told the school board Tuesday. ‘I think our district needs to address security and the safety of our students, faculty, administrators and such, and I think the best way to do this is to go about the process of acquiring a school resource officer.’
