Mamie Ernst, 89, of Hilltown Township [OBITUARY]

Mamie (Crist) Ernst, 89, of Hilltown Township died Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2014 at her residence. She was the wife of the late Gustave Ernst who died July 15, 1994. She was born in Richland Township, Pa., on May 23, 1925 to the late Edwin and Emma (Long) Crist.

Children: Joan L. Miller of Allentown, Barbara L. (Charles) Dederick of Huntington, Ind., Loretta L. of Allentown, Kenneth L. of Hatfield, Rachel R. Skoutelas of Bethlehem, Rosemary G. (Ronald S.) Washburn of Allentown, Roberta J. (Willard) Bader, with whom she resided, Rebecca J. (Mariano Carreras) of Bethlehem, Teresa M. Roncolato of Allentown; Joseph D. (Janet) of Newtown, Conn., David L. (Elizabeth) of Allentown, Brenda L. (John Brader) Lepeta of Palmerton, Amanda L. (Richard) Rutkowski of Allentown; 28 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-granddaughter. She was predeceased by a daughter: Margaret; and several siblings.

SERVICE

Family and friends are invited to call from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 1, 2014 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 326 Main St., Hellertown. The calling hour will be followed by the service at 10 a.m. The interment will conclude services at Springfield Church of the Brethren, Springfield Township.
