Frank A. Martin, 84, of Freemansburg [OBITUARY]

Frank A. Martin, 84, of Freemansburg, died Monday, Nov. 3, 2014 at Moravian Village, Bethlehem. He was the husband of the late Ella Mae (Leith) Martin. He was born in Lower Saucon Township on Dec. 8, 1929 to the late Frank J. and Theresa Ann (Stranner) Martin. He served our country faithfully in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War. Frank worked as a mechanic at the former Dick Milham Chevrolet and the former Houser Chevrolet, both in Bethlehem, for 40 years. He also worked at Giant in Hellertown for several years. He was a member of First United Church of Christ, Hellertown.

SURVIVORS

Cousin: Frank J. (Patricia) Zelko of Bethlehem; daughter-in-law: Vicki (Lorrah) Martin of Bethlehem; twin granddaughters: Ashley Martin and Tina (Ryan) Getz; five great-grandchildren: Alexus Kelly, Faith Kelly, Paige Kelly, Ryan Getz Jr. and Shane Getz. He was predeceased by children: Rosemary and Robert W.; and brother: George J. Martin.

SERVICE

Family and friends are invited to call from 9 to 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 7, 2014 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 326 Main St., Hellertown. The calling hour will be followed by the service at 10 a.m. The interment will conclude services at Union Cemetery of Hellertown.
