When is Hellertown’s Tree-Lighting?

It’s a beloved community celebration that annually draws hundreds, and it’s now only days away.

Hellertown’s annual Light-Up Night ceremony, which is sponsored by the Hellertown-Lower Saucon Chamber of Commerce, will be held Friday, Nov. 28 at 6 p.m. at Borough Hall, 685 Main St., and across the street at Detwiller Plaza.

The following is the schedule for the evening:

6 p.m. – Hot chocolate/cookies and holiday music by the Saucon Valley HS Band

6:30 p.m. – Saucon Valley Girl Scouts lead a community caroling sing-a-long

6:40 p.m. – Invocation and Mayor’s Welcome, followed by the Tree-Lighting

6:45 p.m. – Santa arrives by fire truck

7 p.m. – Santa greets children inside Borough Hall (pictures with Santa available). A holiday shopping spree drawing sponsored by the chamber will also be held.

*This is a free event. Be sure to dress appropriately, as it is held outdoors, after dark.
