Man Fired Gun in Direction of Neighbor’s House While Drunk, Police Say

A Lower Saucon Township man was charged with reckless endangerment, disorderly conduct and discharge of a firearm Nov. 16 after police said he “did admit to firing his 9mm pistol from his back deck toward a burn pile in the dark while intoxicated.”

“Another residence is in the direction of the pistol fire and no proper backstop was in place,” police added.

Police said in a news release that Travis Ward, no age provided, of the 1900 block of Leithsville Road was charged after “an anonymous person reported an intoxicated male shooting at the rear of his residence” at around 5:30 p.m.
