When Are My Leaves Being Collected in Hellertown?

The Hellertown Public Works Department follows a set schedule for leaf collection each fall. This year’s schedule is posted on the borough’s website, along with information about how to prepare your leaves for pickup.

Leaves should be raked into the gutter area before the scheduled pickup week to help speed up collection. To help prevent damage to the borough’s equipment, be sure that branches, shrubbery and trash aren’t mixed in with your leaves.

Following the Thanksgiving holiday (Thursday and Friday, Nov. 27-28), pickups will resume on Monday, Dec. 1 on Kichline Avenue, Clauser Street, Kiernan Avenue, Hess Avenue and Roth Avenue, at the borough’s north end.

Leaf collection will continue Monday through Friday through Dec. 18, according to the posted schedule. Residents are asked to use off-street parking on the day of their street’s scheduled collection.
