Frank J. Maykut, 90, of Lower Saucon (OBITUARY)

Frank J. Maykut, 90, of Lower Saucon Township died Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2014. He was born in Newark, N.J., to the late John and Caroline (Anton) Maykut.

He is survived by his wife, Rita (Love) Maykut; his children: Sharon Needham, Pamela Roman and Timothy Maykut; and his seven grandchildren: Ryan, Gregory, Alexander, Olivia, Hannah, Keegan and Emma.

Mr. Maykut graduated from Lyndhurst High School, Lyndhurst, N.J., and the American Institute of Banking in New York City. He later graduated from the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society School of Gilead in 1949 and served as a missionary in Genoa and Rome, Italy. He was a longtime member and served as an elder in the South Mountain Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Allentown. He had been employed by the Monroe Calculator Division of Litton Industries and managed their offices in Wilmington, Del., State College, Pa., and Manchester, N.H.

A memorial service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 1005 E. Emmaus Ave., Allentown, PA on Saturday, Dec. 20, 2014 at 11:00 am. To offer online condolences, visit www.falkfuneralhomes.com.
