A Guide to Christmas Eve Services in Saucon Valley

Most local churches in the Saucon Valley area will host one or more services on Christmas Eve. Below is a partial list of times and locations. Saucon Community Bible Fellowship Church (located at Christ Lutheran Church of Lower Saucon, 2190 Easton Road, Bethlehem) – 5:30 p.m. candles-141892_640

Christ Lutheran Church of Hellertown (69 Main St., Hellertown) – 4 p.m. (Family Service), 7 p.m. (Contemporary Celebration Praise Band Service), 10 p.m. (Traditional Service). For more information about the church, visit www.christlutheranhellertown.org.

Christ Lutheran Church of Lower Saucon (2190 Easton Road, Bethlehem) – 7:30 p.m. (A Family Worship Service will feature a children’s message, carols, candlelight and Communion), 10 p.m. (Worship with carols, candelight and Communion). For more information, visit www.christlutheranlowersaucon.org.

Mountainview Moravian Church (331 Constitution Ave., Hellertown) – 4:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., Christmas Eve candlelight services will feature a Lovefeast. For more information, visit www.mountainviewmoravianchurch.com.

St. Theresa of the Child Jesus Roman Catholic Church (1408 Easton Road, Hellertown) – 5 p.m. Mass with prelude music by the Young Musicians Society beginning at 4:15 p.m., 7 p.m. Mass featuring music by soloist Ashley Yelnick Yarborough and organist Grace Zajacek, 10 p.m. Mass featuring the Adult Choir, with a sacred choral concert to begin at 9:15 p.m. No Midnight Mass. New Jerusalem Evangelical Lutheran Church (3233 Apples Church Road, Bethlehem) – 5:30 p.m. Family Service featuring carols, candle lighting and readings; 7 p.m. special music; 7:30 p.m. Traditional Candle Lighting Service featuring carols, readings, communion and the traditional candle lighting.
