Dolores E. Lane, 68, of Lower Saucon (OBITUARY)

Dolores E. Lane, 68, of Lower Saucon Township died Thursday, Jan. 1, 2015 at ManorCare Health Services, Bethlehem. She was the wife of Richard F. Lane Sr. She was born in Philadelphia on May 7, 1946 to the late George S. and Catherine (Marren) Carr. Dolores was a bus driver for Levy Transportation, servicing the Quakertown area for three years. She was a member of Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Roman Catholic Church, Colesville, Upper Saucon Township.

SURVIVORS

In addition to her husband of 47 years; son: Patrick B. Lane of Bethlehem; sisters: Ellen “Pat” (Thomas) McNamee of Ardmore, Elizabeth Morgan of Villas, N.J., Marie (William) DeLuca of Ocala, Fla., Eleanor Casselli of King of Prussia. She was predeceased by a son: Richard F. “Ricky” Lane Jr. (died Feb. 12, 1998).

SERVICE

Family and friends are invited to call from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2015 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 326 Main St., Hellertown. The calling hour will be followed by the service at 11 a.m.  The interment will conclude services at Holy Cross Cemetery, Delaware County.
