Teens Were Drunk When They Caused Drive-Thru Ruckus, Police Say

Hellertown Police say a woman from Lansdale and two male teenagers–one of whom is now facing charges–“screamed obscenities” at McDonald’s workers while in line at the restaurant’s drive-thru Dec. 22.

In a news release issued Tuesday, police said the woman and two boys used the order speaker to curse out the workers shortly before 11 p.m.

Police said officers were called to the restaurant at 14 Main Street and determined all three to be under the influence of alcohol.

According to the news release, the juvenile male operator of the vehicle–who was not identified because of his age–was arrested for DUI, underage drinking, disorderly conduct, an open container violation and “minor prohibited from operating a vehicle with alcohol in system.”
