L. Saucon Citizens Committee Meets Feb. 19

The first meeting of Lower Saucon Township’s newly-formed Citizens Committee is scheduled to be held Thursday, Feb. 19 at 7 p.m. at Town Hall, 3700 Old Philadelphia Pike, Bethlehem. The meetings are open to the public.

The committee is expected to meet at least four times a year and will produce a report that it will deliver to Lower Saucon Township Council by the end of this year, an announcement posted on the township’s website indicated.

Formation of the Citizens Committee was one of the recommendations in a report produced by the Economic Development Task Force in October.

The committee was established by council in December to work with township staff in reviewing township policies and permitting procedures.
