SV Wrestling Sending 6 to Regionals

Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

Big congratulations to Head Coach Chad Shirk and the Saucon Valley wrestling program, as they will be well represented next weekend in the Southeast Regional tournament at Wilson West Lawn High School near Reading. Saucon senior Jason Lynch (170) was crowned District XI champion Saturday, and will lead five of his teammates to Regionals.

Lynch also reached a personal milestone Friday, with his 100th career win following an 18-3 technical fall over Dylan Rabuck of Williams Valley.

Joining Lynch at Regionals will be freshman Jason Jones (2nd at 132), Dylan Yonney (3rd at 145), and 4th place finishers Paul Miller (106), Jack Hill (113) and Nate Harka (152).

The top six place-winners in each weight class at Regionals will qualify and advance to Hershey for a shot at a State championship. Good luck, Saucon Valley!
