Historical Society Wants to Hear from Hellertown’s WWII Vets

Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

The Hellertown Historical Society is seeking World War II servicemen from Hellertown who are willing to talk about and share their war experiences for posterity.

In a post on its Facebook page, the historical society explained that “we want to document these memories as historical archives for future generations, and also hope to create a speaker series event where we can share these recollections with the public. We are also interested in sharing any relevant memorabilia.”

The historical society is asking both its members and community members to help spread the word about the project.

To participate in it, or for more information, call 610-838-1770 or 610-997-3635, or email info@hellertownhistoricalsociety.org.
