SVSD Makes Calendar Adjustments

The Saucon Valley School District announced several adjustments to this year’s calendar, which were approved the school board at its meeting Tuesday night.

The following changes–which were precipitated by the need to make up two recent unscheduled snow days–were approved:

Friday, March 27 is now a full day for students (it was previously an early dismissal)
Thursday, April 2 is now an early dismissal for students (it was previously a holiday) as well as the third quarter end date (which had been March 27)
June 9-10 are now full days for students; June 11-12 are now early dismissal days for students
Friday, June 12 is now the last day for students and graduation day for the Saucon Valley High School Class of 2015
Monday, June 15 is now the last day for teachers
